Philosopher Alan Watts on the nature of reality and choice.
This article is dedicated to those who want to have a daily meditative or reflective practice but don’t actually sit down and do it. “I know I should be meditating but I just can’t find the time” or “I wish I could take time to reflect but I keep getting distracted” are common refrains.
A fascinating video on how we perceive time and how that equates to our values and “success.”
A really important video. How can you be truly successful in a system that is not behaving in a just, responsible, and humane fashion?
A man is standing outside the theater, eagerly awaiting the arrival of his date. He’s a little anxious because she’s running late. His phone buzzes with a new text message. He looks down at the screen and reads:
Srry. But Boss jst gAVE me a last minute project. Can’t make the show. Will
When asked how he made his statue of David, Michelangelo is reported to have said, “I saw David in the block of marble and I chiseled ’til I set him free.’” Michelangelo released David from that block of marble over 500 years ago and his message is just as relevant today. In fact, it

Wowza! I curled up with my cup of coffee, looking out at the hills in Park City and delved into the most amazing 15 mins of my vacation. Thank you for this.
I knew from our work together that this would be powerful but this lifesheet was truly and exactly what I needed at this moment in my life. I sent this to friends to everyone that I know would benefit from your work. This is a tool for everyone at any point in their life where they simply need a perspective shift.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I just completed Lex’s Purpose Lifesheet and was amazed by the results. I’m at a point of transition in my life and working to get clarity on what is important going forward. The dynamic completion aspect of the worksheet was terrific–I was impressed by the system’s ability to take disparate thoughts and weave them together into a cogent statement that I ‘tweaked’ to get a purpose statement that works and is authentic. I’m looking forward to completing Lex’s Clarity and Forgiveness Lifesheets.

Having done about a thousand “clarifying” exercises over the past decade, I have to honestly tell you I wasn’t expecting any real “results” from doing this lifesheet. I basically thought it’d be a waste of time.
And I’m humbled and happy to report that I was dead fucking wrong.
I chose the single most hairy and complex decision I’m facing – whether to move my family and my company to Austin.
This is a decision that has plagued me every day for months now. Literally every single day.
And out of nowhere – this little online sequence totally ROCKED me. I mean, I feel retarded for not seeing the problem before.
The problem was that I was *waiting* to see how Austin would be for us – like it will either be good or bad – instead of *creating* how Austin will be. You know…defining what I want it to look like…how it will feel…what it will enable us to give back to the world. All that stuff in the exercise that I KNOW but had somehow completely forgotten.
Anyway, I just scheduled lunch with Sarah today so we can talk about how to *create* the whole thing together. So simple. I seriously can’t believe I hadn’t thought of it before.
So thank you, Mr. Sisney. You somehow cut through my iron-plated spiritual cynicism and into the eternal unwavering truth of how we actually create our lives in this world.
I hope and trust you’re receiving the same clarity and freedom you’re dispensing.

Lex, this process is brilliant! Thank you for this beautiful gift you’re sharing. I’m excited at the prospect of going through all the issues I’ve been stuck on and clearing them out one by one. I’ve been doing these every day and feeling the spaciousness and joy of letting it all go. It’s such a treat!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, Lex! This was a great exercise. It really helped me shift my perspective on an old issue I hadn’t made peace with for years. I also want to share that, at first, I felt resistant to answering the questions in writing (I’ve always struggled with that, and tend to do this kind of work silently, in my head). The more I went into the lifesheet, though, the more I saw the wisdom of it – it brought out greater insights and helped me process them more deeply. I look forward to doing this again!

The outcome for me was that I re-centered and found a nugget of truth that happens to be the key to my existence. Thanks Lex!
